After initial recovery in the hospital, she was admitted to Heritage House of Vicksburg’s Nursing Center on the afternoon of March 11, for further rehabilitation and recovery. The purpose of this letter is to thank you for the truly outstanding hospitality, nursing skill, and unmatched therapy that she received during her three week stay. She always felt welcome, comfortable and well cared for. The occupational and physical therapy she received was particularly outstanding. It moved her toward recovery faster than we anticipated. This has been the fastest and most rewarding time. Every one of you were so kind and professional. The food was wonderful and nutritious. The therapy department helped me get back on my feet. The therapist understood my shoulder needs and also did other exercises to help me get stronger. The nurse that gave me my medicine listed to me. It was so nice to get things when I needed them. Everyone was so courteous. The ladies in the laundry were so helpful and kept my clothes straight. All the employees had a wonderful attitude. “We really enjoyed our stay. My husband and I came for rehabilitation. Every one of the therapy members worked wonderful for both of us. We had so much fun with everyone who has helped us. Such a nice place here. It’s almost like home. We had family and friends to come and visit us. If you need a place for therapy or anything this is the place to go. “On Friday, April 2, 2021, I fell at my house and broke my hip. I was rushed to the hospital where I had surgery for a broken hip. Just a few days later, I was moved to Heritage House and placed in isolation. I had no idea what my rehab would be. I just knew I wanted to go back home.

During my stay here I had some of the best care I’ve ever had. The people here have become like family to me. If I was in pain, they brought me Tylenol. They made sure I received my meds on time each day. My clothes were always laundered each day. My room was always cleaned. Whatever I needed, they gave it.

All of the people here treat their patients like they’re the most important and I believe it’s true. The therapist become like family with a purpose. They push just enough to make you want to try harder. I was blessed with the best. If you’re ever in need of this kind of place, Heritage House is the best. It will always have a place in my heart. My extended family, and I love them.”
